Fire-eye frames any opinions ?

Hi All

Just been looking on CRC and they seem to have lots of these at cheap prices, rhetorical question I think but does this mean they are crap and unpopular :?:

Any opinions welcomed

iv got a fire eye flame which i got from crc, and i can vouch that they are far from crap. the frames are solid as hell with excellent welds. also the weight isnt too bad considering its steel. the ride is solid but forgiving. if you buy one you wont regret it.

I have one too

I really liked it, built up as a hardcore hardtail and it was a tank! I put it together with no concession to weight and it was a grind going up but absolutely ploughed going down

Some nice detailing and well put together. I would still be riding it if a deal on a Dialled Alpine hadn't came up, it has the same grins but is a good bit lighter (albeit by build as as much as anything).
