Ideas on making fork guards for Stratos S8?

Just picked up a set of Stratos S8 and they don't come with fork
guards and the drop-outs don't have holes in for fork guards.

Does anybody have advice on how to make guards and brackets for them?

Also how to tune the springs to firm?

Did they ever come with roost guards fitted?

That is one horrible looking bike (I know it's not yours).
If you haven't got a firm spring kit for them I don't rate your chances of finding one :cry:
