Thinking of selling my large GT STS lobo - got it about 1 year ago, And have ridden in it yet (apart for a round the block) thinking of getting a Yeti Arc new instead or ARC-X.

what do you think?

Hi - I would be very interested to see some pics.

I am from Bradford and am just building up my Large STS Lobo.

It's a good point though, what to do with them once they're built... if it's mint, you risk degrading the condition by riding it. This has financial and emotional implications. If it's not mint, it's probably cracked or will crack soon from use as it becomes more brittle. So other than looking at it, there's not much you can do with it!!

My dream is to have my 4 classics lined up in a ''reception room'' but as I live in a 1 up 1 down that's not going to happen soon. In fact I'd probably need to flog them to put the money towards the extra reception room...

I hope this helps :?

Break it up, put the beautiful frame on a wall in the kitchen, hall way, where ever then use the parts for another build...either having them on a new frame or selling them! :D

It does raise an interesting point about some retro builds, especially the ones that are mint NOS builds. As nice as they are, I sometimes fail to see the point because you'd be gutted if it got broken.

I think I'd be tempted to keep the frame and any of the rare bits ad se the other stuff elsewhere, at least that way you can rebuild it if you want.

It looks great!!

Are you selling the spare bush/bearing kit? I know they are available from 1 shop in the states for $29.99 + postage, but I would be keen to buy one from the UK to avoid import tax etc... pls PM me if so :D

I'm also interested in where you got your decals from. I seem to have a mysterious way of infuriating decal specialists. I have dealt the Image Works and my last email was ignored, and I've tried Gil M and been ignored after placing an order... any help greatly appreciated.

Assuming you sold the bike complete - what would your estimate be?
