the 928 had a semi folding spare, possibly the first of the space saver spares? not sure but I think you had to take it back to the dealers to get it refolded?

Not sure you know what you're asking...

A kevlar beaded car tyre would save a TINY amount of weight off the wight of the tyre, and there's no way you could fold car tyre anyway - too much rubber.

A car tyre also has steel 'belts' or 'plys' which go around the tyre under the tread carcass - this is why they're called 'radials', as opposed to older tyres which were 'cross ply' (plys went from bead to bead).


What benefit would you see to them folding? :?
