Re-attatching teflon coating of bushings

So, I have a nice old Psylo Race fork and took it apart for the first time since i got it off ebay a year ago.

One of the top bushings in one of the lower legs has had its teflon coating come unstuck -

There is no way new bushings are viable - cost more than a new set of nicer forks! SO is there any chance I could superglue the coating back on?

Do you think it will stay put, and are there any other glues I should use instead?

Also on another note, do you think that it is worth replacing the seals with the new kit I got (for the foam rings really) even though they were not really leaking or causing problems before?

Thanks!

I dont think superglue would work, the oil would eat it. Not sure how you could do it if at all.
If the seals dont need replacing yet, then dont.

ok thanks - I just put it back together without the coating on the top bushing. They are still nice and plush and apart from a small bit of play in that leg they seem fine!

I'm sure the stanchions are going to be ruined very quickly, but if it still works I'll keep using it!

Cheers
