I've been making a post mount rear disc adaptor for a mates Azonic VR1 (http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewto ... 946a646302) in fact it has the same colour scheme as the one in the review.
It's a great riding bike as the linkage system isolates pedalling input really well, however it doesn't have a rear disc mount and even XTR V brakes don't cut it when the going get's muddy.
I've based this adaptor on an old non working Hope C2 rear disc adaptor utilizing the hollow bolt offset drop-out and the torque reaction arm. The post mount adaptor plate is similar to the Brake Therapy one and is sized to fit the disc (155-160 diameter) on the Hope Big-Un that came with the C2 system.
Before I cut the adaptor plate from alloy I made a couple of prototypes from 12 mm MDF (messy but a lot easier to shape!)

The final alloy shape was slightly different from the upper MDF template but it's pretty close, I used some 5000 series alloy 12.7 mm thick I found on ebay.

The hole for the Hope drop-out adaptor drilled and the assembly test fitted on my rear wheel jig (it's really the rear of a crashed steel hardtail!)

The M6 calliper mounting holes tapped and the calliper installed and it works!

I've yet to tap a hole but I want to check the assembly on the Azonic frame before I finalize that hole position.
I've got hold of the VR1 and finalized the torque arm hole position, fitting the adaptor to the VR1 was straightforward with no more filing required!
