Are the stanchions from a set of 1999 Judy Xc's compatible with a set of 1999 Sid Sl's? I've got a set of each of these forks being delivered but want to combine them both into one set.

Most likely YES. I am 99% positive. Second generation Judys with one piece magnesium casting are the same as SIDs, just a tad heavier, due to the coils and elastomers and the more chunky crowns. Stanchions diameter should be the same easily.

Perfect. The steerer on the Sids is too short so I was wanting to use that :)
