My forks top out over jumps, would this be the oil dampening?
They are OEM I think from a Merlin Malt, as they don't have a lock out, just preload.
Would I just unscrew the preload cap on the right leg? Unbolt the nut, pour out the oil and add the required ml of new oil?
I don't want to cause a load of hassle by unbolting the wrong thing.
Another issue, the steerer is too short, just by the top stem bolt using no spacers, while I ride it like this it's not ideal. Anyone got a set (bolted crown) with a long steerer they want to swap?
