Cannondale prohet 600 -2005 Rear shock replacement

Hi All

I have a Cannondale prohet 600 -2005 and the rear shock gave out on me on my last ride so I need a Rear shock replacement .

From what I have read it should be a 200mm -50mm Stoke shock although to be honest not sure how to check.


Has anyone else replaced the rear shock on a prophet and can recommend a good shock to buy

I was thinking of getting the old shock as replacement as its cheap "Manitou Radium" 2007

Also could I fit a 190mm-50mm ? Its just that they seem chaeaper ?

I put a romic twintube on mine and it transformed the bike.

Brilliant shocks if you can find one (i think i used a 200x56 on mine to eek a bit more travel but you are right 200x50 is correct for the bike)
 
+1 for the Romic, good shocks. On my Gemini I have a Suntour Epicon 190mm/50 air shock with lockout, works really well and not too expensive, the lockout is worth having for tarmac.

Although spacers can be a pig to find for DT Swiss, fine shock though

Just bought a new200 -50 mm"manitou Radium 2013" with lockout as I needed a replacement quickly.
Hopefully i will be better than the old Radium I had on . The Lockout should make a big difference hopefully
 
I have the rear shock but need new bushes and having a real problem where to get the right size?
I bought the shock from chain reactions but they do not have the right size bushes
Does anyone know where I ould get the right size?

The Bushes arrived but now need the screws to keep the Rear shock in place !!! :facepalm:
Sorry does anyone know where I can order these...
I had to cut the old ones to get the old rear shock off the bike

Do these parts have a special name ( The screw that holds the bushes and schock in place ?
I have been searching but can not find them anywhere ??
I am searching for Nut / bolt / screw rockshock

Need to get this bike back out on the tracks...
Any help is appriciated
