Winter gloves, whats good?

After some ideas on winter gloves, hate having cold fingers so full finger ones. Whats worth having and which to avoid please.
 
Lots neglect their core in favour of high qual gloves, etc.

Layer your core and your body will take care of those pinkies.

Adopting a more relaxed riding style in extreme weather helps too, and you can wear lighter gloves but alternate tucking a hand in a muff.

My wife swears by it.

ihave a pair of the seal skin winter gloves the only thing is they can get a little warm as they are waterproof , so they dont breathe to well. but great last winter when it was snowing
i also have an old pair of qranc (i think thats how its spelt )great gloves not too bulky but not waterproof. mine are now very old and looka bit past it but i still wear them from time to time.

I've often used paintball gloves that have insulated neoprene outers with suede/faux suede palms and inner fingers, reasonably cheap
 
Thanks for the tip on paintball gloves,will be trying them soon,lots of protection which is much needed with my dodgy riding :D
