memory isnt what it used to be.
ive just noticed the wheels on my lts, one is a d521 and the other is a d521sup
what's the difference?
also.... it has hollowtech deore m560 cranks and ive just bought a set of m575 hollowtech cranks will i need a new bb? or are the splines the same depth?

A quote of another forum I think answers your question :
..SUP is a process where Mavic welded the entire seam of the rim instead of just a pin weld. The seam is than machined smooth...It's supposed to create a better braking surface and stronger rim...

I'm pretty sure the D521s will both be SUP welded, I don't remember them making one that was only pinned. So it's probably just a difference in labelling.
