I spoke to BBB about there extender. They stated it was not to be used in an off road application.

I know several people do use them off road but it wasn't for me.

They are plenty heavy too.

I've used 3 in the past and off road no probs...........i would say if your gonna use one for a little extra height they would be plently strong, i guess if you start to use 1/2 it's height or more, then leverage may be why BBB told above not for off-road. I only ever used them to gain a smallish extra height
