Building up my Dolan Mythos frameset and almost finished the build. I have a set of Ultegra 6700 brakes (ie front with long thread, and rear with short thread). However the Mythois has a fat wishbone seat stay so needs a long thread with 20mm collar.

Two options - sell the rear on ebay and buy new front brake, or strip the long thread from a 6600 front and transfer to the 6700 rear. Last time I stripped some calipers down it was aright faff to reassemble. Is it possible to swap thread bolts in/ou or is it just not worth the hassle?

Thoughts?

Ta in advance

Leaving aside the dreadful typing (middle aged fingers do not agree with a Blackberry keyboard) - issue now resolved.

Excess resin in wishbone hole (for female collar). Thanks to the friendly and helpful advice from Dolan, all sorted.
