bought a set of XO brakes off here and the front looks to have something wrong with the lever, no fluid in there and there is a bubbly sound present when i compress the lever, plus the lever gets stuck
really Pd off as they were supposed to be working

anywhere i can get hold of spares to rebuild it

Any decent shop should be able to get them for you, every part of the lever except the main body is available as a spare. The distributor (Fisher Outdoor Leisure) can be a bit hit and miss with stock, but I had two lever and two calliper rebuild kits for Elixir from them last week.
