Agreed, the number of privateers racing these circa 2000/2001 was insane, especially given they weren't in any respect 'cheap'. The ride was just phenomenal. It's certainly on my 'list' of future purchases if the right one becomes available.

Yeah always wanted one but just never really got round to it.
Also i do like the one the year before they came out, the mixed up i-drive frame that peaty rode?
It was on here at one stage.

Those were the days, great looking GT's! The later dhi's went all weird looking with tubing angles all over the place and then box section frames, neither of which were to my taste. Cheers for the pic mate :wink:

I had a 2004 DHi before going to a 2007 monocoque DHi (which btw ran rings around the 04)
Nice solid frames but take a lot of service with the i-drive bearings, also need the custom mrp chain guide
01 versions were prone to cracking around the chainstay bb area.

Great long travel dh bikes that pedal like xc bikes :wink:
