Really want to get a pair of lock on grips (to save all the washing up liquid and colourful language) but using grip shift, i ofc don't have enough bar space. Just asking to see what my options might be?

Do they make shorter versions?

Could I perhaps shorten the inside end of a single clamp one? ...I have a pipe cutter

Any help / advice would be gratefully appreciated ;)

It's not much help, but I'm sure I saw grip shift compatibile lock ons on the chain reaction website.

these?

or just cut them . lock on are just a long plastic tube . I have cut mine to the length i wanted .

I cut some once and then the lip that the collar sits on didnt fit properly and the grips had play. I threw them out.

...I thought they were made of some alloy or other :?

I've done both cutting and proper short grips.

The feeling of a lock-ring between the rotating Gripshift and fixed grip is an acquired taste, I don't care much for it. Cutting works fine but looks less tidy.

Enjoy!!
