The wife has MX5s, they're pretty powerful, but setup is a little fiddly.

A bit on/off though.

Thats a great help thank you. Only for the mrs bike, brakes are very spongy at the moment with no real power. Think these will be fine.

I got some cheap for my budget bike. Not as nice as Avid BB7's but they work well enough.

Are they at a good price? BB5s are near as good as 7s and they are to be had for 30 bucks an end at CRC.

They were, nearly bt the bullet and bought them at £8 each caliper. Decidied against it as was waiting on payment from someone who took longer than expected then next day they went up to £23 each! Bugger.
BB5's are wrong colour however.
