Hi guys, and girls
I have been looking at a modern chainset, a Truvative Blaze 2.1
Its a great price and it is a double chainring with a chaingaurd where you would normally have the big ring, bolts on where you would normally bolt a big ring on as well. My question is if I wanted to go back to a triple can you just bolt a big ring in place of the chaingaurd?
It looks like it to me but i may be missing something basic here as I've never had a specific double only chainset.
Thanks for any help
Jamie

Yep, the bash goes on the same tabs.
You may or may not need different width bolts depending on what bash it is though.

You may find the chain line is different to a triple chainset.
Give the double a go; you might get yourself converted!
