i have a braided hose for the rear disc on my 99 FSR.
need to guide it, but obvioulsy cant route it through the existing cable guides (would need to disassemble the brake)
so, aftermarket cable guides - i've seen a few, but they all seem to cater for small fork tubes/top tubes etc...my FSR has a massive extruded square box section down tube, so cant wrap the rubber bands round that are supplied with some cable guides (like this one: http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/m:part-disc-brake-hose-guide-for-suspension-prod17203/ )
with the exception of the magura ones which screw into the cable guide itself, the route on my FSR isnt really optimal for that, so i need to create my own.

what have people done with theirs? this braided brake cable seems to be quite slippery, so i need to anchor it securely....:?

what about these shimano hose guides? one end fits into the existing guide and hte hose clips in
