I just bought a pair of these in the Camo pattern:

Hope they are as good as they sound. Got to be worth it for £15.

I was looking at them the morning, be interested to hear what they are like. My last set of endura ones were dissapointing as they fell to bits in a couple of months

do people wear overshoes just for waterproofing purposes or is there another purpose?

if not why not just wear seal skinz waterproof socks.

I wear them for extra warmth when its cold but not too wet. When its really wet and horrible I change to wear winter boots instead.

I use seal skinz too although due to the lack of a seal round the cuff of the sock I find them next to useless at keeping my feet dry.

I quite fancy a pair of the ones that only cover the front of your shoe for roadwork in the winter. The back of my shoes are warm enough but the wind whistles in through the mesh front on them.
