Merek riser bars any good???

Hey, has anybody had any experience with this brand of bars, they are sold on ebay and I'm just curious if they're any good?

A quick google revealed nothing scary. Apparently they are an oem manufacturer. As much a risk as the 'Chinese carbon frames' I guess. Just google merek carbon bar reviews and check the related forum posts.

I comment grabbed me though, that for a few pennies more you can get a tried and tested 'branded' one. There were a coupe posts mentioning that the weight benefit wasn't that large either.

Nah dont get me wrong I'm not gonna buy a set, got me mind set on a set of easton haven bars but just saw them and just wondered if they're any good.

I have merek seat post, it is surprisingky light and not being the lightest of riders who post on here, it has not borken yet. even the clamping mechanism, which looks quite flimsy hold the saddle in place.

i see no reason to be afraid of this particular chinese brand.
