Mate has a jump bike (voodoo shango) and the chainring is giving him problems. He would like to convert to a standard mtb/euro bb for 24mm axle cranks.
Can it be done?

are you sure its a mid bb? if it is then think he is stuck. best bet would be to get a spider for the oe cranks. think dmr made one, possibly a few others too.

Pretty sure it is, on the premise that a euro bb is just a standard (mtb) bb). Maybe you know the bb?
The axle measured at 19mm and the bmx'er at work said it is a mid bb.
He has considered other 3 piece cranks and such but would prefer mtb if at all possible.

Fit Bike Co make a BMX crankset with a 24mm axle, pretty new but you might be able to pick up a set of the bearings.

Thats the sort of stuff! Just looking to buy the whole bb unit rather than just the bearings.
I wonder what the code is for them?
Seems the fit one are 23.80 inner? Which is imperial? And cant find the whole unit with the spacers and all.

I'm pretty sure the bearings are a custom size, not an off the shelf jobby. Maybe speak to the distro or something?
