wow, i didn't think it was as early as that

...i also saw a fsr, which the guy claimed was a 2002 frame, but which also clearly had a sharkfin bolted to it :oops: ...could he be wrong about the year ?

I used to have a 2001 M4 HT with disc tabs (yes I ran discs on it ), I would still have it now if it hadn't been 2 sizes too small for me.

My dads stumpy comp M4 HT is a 2000 and has is disc tabs on it.

Seem to remember 1999 FSR didn't but replacement 2001 frame did. So it must be about 2000/2001

I had a 2001 FSR xc comp that had disc tabs but pretty sure the previous years bike didn't.

I've got the same frame, think it's a 2000 and has no disc tabs.
