02gf74 Old School Grand Master Feedback View Aug 30, 2012 #6 a hope clamp is the only clamo I have ever had that failed to stop the post from slipping - the hollow alloy bolt started to stretch!! I made the alloy 'nut' and am using a steel bolt and no problems whatsoever.
