In a world of carbon full sussers, this has also caught my eye recently.

A fully rigid modern steel bike.

Granted it's a 29er but I particularly like the look of the Genesis Fortitude Adventure.

When I bought my Genesis core I was trying to get the 853 model, but had to settle for the alu frame. Nicely built though and well designed. I quite like them as a company. No nonsense bikes designed for UK conditions.

One of my mates has a 2009 Genesis Altitude 30 . It has an 853 frame and some really nice frame details. Very nice to ride as well.
As a Madison brand I agree that they have really worked hard to create some really interesting and well thought out bikes in their range.
Clearly aimed at the UK market.

I've also been looking at the Croix de Fer and the Alptitude frame. Rather nice too.
