As many people know, I managed to pick up a part built SC Chameleon project for my other half....

Does anyone know what the seat post sizes were for the original chameleon? I had one which was a 27.2, so have bought a 27.2 seat post for this one but it is mega tight and doesn't really want to go in. I can only assume that some had a smaller seat tube.....

Any help would be massively appreciated.

Cheers

If thats the case, 27.0?

Or tighter than that? I reckon if you can get it in a little it must be that size ish?

Its weird because it seems to hit something part way down, but as far as I can tell by sliding a smaller post in agaisnt the edeges, there is nothing stoppoing it.

My Chameleon had a 400mm EA70 post that I could get all the way down to the logo with no issues, which is why I am thinking that it may be a different size.

Damn old bikes!
