Anyone know what year this frame was roughly was made I have just purchased and have a feeling it maybe fake? I'm yet to receive it so not totally sure? Any ideas?

Decals look pretty genuine. Recon you could replicate most of them apart from the black triangular M5 metal one on the down tube. although the other M5 ones look a little odd. I'd go for 2003/4 due to the internal headset. My 2002 is very similar, ORE downtube etc but has an external headset.

was going to say 2003/2004 but the drop-outs don't match the images from specialized website

how much did you pay for it and from where, if ebay you might get money back as it will be easy to get proof its not genuine from specialized

send the pics to specialized get them to confirm its not a m5 s-works

once you have the proof open a not as described claim on paypal( you did pay by paypal i hope) *

you might need to take frame and proof to local trading standards office

hopefully you get refunded\



*wait till frame arrives before opening any claim

Yeah paid via paypal thankfully, I've just emailed seller so will wait to see what he say's he maybe genuine and refund, he's listed it as returns accepted so may not be a problem. Its most certainly a fake though check the link below!
