I have a 2000 heckler (without any isg tab wotsits) want to go 2 x 9 nine looking for advice on best to use thanks

Easiest is any 3x9 setup without a granny ring and just reset the high and low screws.

Ah good idea, didnt think of that!

And if it falls off the inside, granny is there to save it.

what chain devices fit best not sure because of the high swing arm

I used to use a ds1 but that wont fit on my heckler (04) so have gone to an mrp mini me. Something that is angled back and not full back plate. E thirteens and such.

You should be okay with a lower roller such as blackspire stinger. You can get a top seatpost mounted guide seperately if you need it.

The stinger works with a 2 ring setup too. No guides with a top piece will work with more than one ring. You can only have a lower roller.

Yes they will, i have a truvativ double and a the raceface atlas is for double too. And the blackspire dewlie.
