was just wondering about this bike. i dont see much info on it anywhere. it has a little damage right around the crank. i dont think it should effect the integrity of the frame. i recently had my frame fold on me. litterally fold
i was going around a corner and hit a patch of gravel. i slowed down quite a bit before i bumped into this wall. wasnt even really going that fast. my bike poppped up a little and on the way back down just crumpled. so i switched as much stuff as i could from the rock hopper to this univega. i hope the back derailleur can be made to work right without skipping. that is the only thing left i have to do. it put a chain on it and then get the shifting to work. any pointers would be great. i think i have the front on pretty much lined up. but the back i think will be a bit more tricky.
the univega has a shamano STX rear derailleur, dia compe brake levers. specialzed grip shift, a hyperdrive C shamano crank. rock shocks alivio brakes.
