Whats people recomendations/opinions/experiences on these 2 please as im unsure which to go for. Its for an rc300. Tar :)

I'm about to buy a Hope one, but I have no experience of either brand so far.

I'm buying Hope because I have seen more bad reviews of the Pace unit than the Hope one.

Make of that what you will.

Im slightly swayimg towards the hope at the min, only reason im considering a pace is because of the frame its going on!

I use hope too, pretty flawless really.

I didnt know pace made bb's though so hmm.

Hope dont make huge amounts of products so youd like to think what they do make, theyd get right.

Hope and Pace BB are constructed very similarly....I sell and use both. Hope on the Road and Pace on one of my MTBs... the one that gets used most.

Hope is fit and forget with stainless bearings that you replace when they are worn out.

Pace uses enduro seals, very beefy o-rings in the sleeve and you can grease inject it - and use lower viscosity grease. But if you aren't going to do the grease injection and buy the tool and grease gun, then just buy the Hope.

I have 2 punters out using Pace BBs and they are both happy with them.Plus the one on my own bike is fine. Certainly much less friction than a Shimano unit.

Hope - works brilliantly and made in Barnoldswick.
Pace - may work all right and off-shored to who knows where.

Hope every time for me since Pace went Taiwanese.

I thought Pace used SKF bearings in their bb's, or at least they did when they were selling isis bb's. If that's still the case then there shouldn't be much between them....
