Yes it's a lockout. Not sure if it works mind. I think they're going to need a service.

Anyone done this themselves? I haven't ever pulled apart some shocks - is it tough?

Who's the best people to send them to if it's too much for me?

There's some paint missing - anyone ever repaired paint on fork lowers?

Shocks arent hard to pull apart, just take your time and lay everything out in an organised fashion to help with the rebuild. Use good quality tools as well to avoid mashing up important bits!

TFTuned are good for servicing forks and shocks. I am sure plenty on here will be able to help you if needs be. Its fun to have a go yourself, I serviced some Bombers a while back, just downloaded the manual and got stuck in. All came up lovely in the end.

Enjoy!

Agreed TFT are great but I've serviced some Dukes (very similar to SID) and some Psylos recently and it was an easy way to make them feel good as new - provided you DL the correct manual! I'd agree, they around 03 to me

At a guess, looks like a SID team.

Thanks everyone. Got any pointers as to where I'll be able to download the right manual from? Assuming I need new seals etc is there a good place to buy spares?

Ta again.
