Ideas for July/August 98+ BotM

I have a few ideas for the next themed BotM. Some were mentioned before, but never used. Some may have been used in the past as well.
Feel free to make your own suggestions if you can't pick anything.

- US brands only
- Euro brands only
- Asian brands only
- Retromod
- Rigid
- Fully
- Carbon
- No paint
- Cruiser
- Custom framed
- Street tyre
- Amberwalls, whitewalls and coloured tyres in general
- Night rider
- Wheelie
- Weight weenie (-22lbs only)
- Heavy bikes (+35lbs only)

i think you have forgotten the obvious, european.

not meaning to be anti US, but alot of the winners of BOTM generally are US built, they are revered here, it would be nice to see a euro competition.

Just thought I'd try and suggest another topic for your bike list that's all.

ps I wouldn't be able to fit an elephant in any of our rooms, cos It's a Cottage built in 1865.

Dh bike. -> that's subjective. Some bikes may be borderline between XC and DH
XC bike. -> Same as above
Am bike. -> Am ? Care to elaborate?
Cruiser. -> is an option indeed.
Wet bike. -> hmm ... too close to the mud special. Perhaps somewhere in the fall.
Dry bike. -> Like any normal BotM then?
DJ bike. -> Care to elaborate?
Street bike. -> Already mentioned that.
Retro looking new bike. -> Again, that's rather subjective.
Summer bike. -> That leaves nearly every bike eligible.
Winter bike. -> is an option, if it's clearly described.
Commuter. -> So you mean with lights etc?
Cyclo. -> That would be nearer to the Road section.
Custom framed bike. -> is an option indeed.
Bike from specific year. -> Too limiting. Besides, it's not always possible to determine the exact age.
Bike from africa. -> That'll be a BotM with 0 entries then.
(Insert colour) themed bike. -> possible. Will need to look into that.
The mrs bike. -> The Mrs can ride men's bikes too, so it'll be difficult to verify that it is indeed the Mrs' bike.
Trials bike. -> Dunno, do we have many trials bikes here?
Carbon bike. -> That's already in the list.
Steel bike. -> IIRC we had that recently, but I could be wrong.
Alu bike. -> IIRC we had that recently as well, but I could be wrong again.
Bike with something unique (i.e 1 of, not a unique feature found on all the same models). -> Perhaps 1 or 2 bikes would enter, or maybe the custom-framed ones, which were mentioned before.
Road bike - although we should probably leave that to the road guys. -> agree with your comment there.
Your lightest bike. -> Weight weenie BotM ? Tintin would love that. -22lbs BotM
Your heaviest bike. -> I'd put a weight limit on that as well. +35lbs club or something like that.
