My 'modern' bike is a 2010 Cube Team LTD, which has received some expensive lightweight bling over the last couple of years.

My riding is 90% cross country / trails etc, which the Cube excels at, being light weight and very responsive. It's a big plus to be able to lob it over stiles and gates with ease while riding buddies struggle to heft their gas-pipe downhillers.

However, the Cube's downside is it's a bit too stiff at the back end for my aging arse - I suppose it's a price to pay for responsiveness and accuracy.

Therefore, I'm thinking of full sus, but light in weight. I'm not looking for mega travel, maybe 3" or so or travel that isn't set off by my pedaling efforts! I'd like the all up weight (I'll be using trick bits and Crank Bros wheels from the Cube) to be no more than 11 kilos, and I'd like similar geometry to what I have.
