Tandem training started early with my daughter, pictured here.

We were on a Dawes Ladyback with Kiddie crank fitted. The handlebars had reversed bar ends fitted, too, so she could reach.

We've seen all sorts of contraptions at some of the Tandem Club events. Broom handles down each side and even a proper child car seat fitted in place of a rear saddle.

My parents have a Bike Friday Tandem, which all the grandchildren have been on at some stage.

Stokers don't really need to see where they're going. :wink: And I'm sure the view of the forest beats looking at the back of my neck hands down!
