Hey, I may have the chance to buy one of these bikes and just wondered if anyone has one and if they like it?, also if you could tell me the full spec as I cant find anything about it on google. Oh I think the one I've got the chance of is a 98-99 model. cheers Rob 8) 8)

Summit was available few years...
What is the colour of this frame, and what material is it (cr-mo or alu)?

Its a friend bike and I have'nt seen it in years, all I remember its orange, stx-rc and the frame material is 4130 steel? As for pics none yet.

An orange and STX RC?

Well, if it's steel it have to be pre 1998 - 1998 and younger frames in Sports Series was made by 7005 alloy

Summit in orange was available as I remember in 1997 But it was equiped oryginaly in Sram/ESP components..

Summit with STX RC stuff (and grey Tioga tyres) was available in 1996, but the colour was more like dark red...

from what I remember its the same colour so yes it may be, I still havent got the pics off him yet :(
