I am going to have these forks repainted as soon as I receive some stencil masks from Mr Dekerf. I had thought just boring black but maybe I should be more adventurous...what do you think? Also, at 450 A2C these are 10mm longer than they should be...do they look too long to you?

Black is good. they do look to long  Perhaps wont notice when black?

Use a narrower tire to get the front down :D
It's looking good to me. Wouldn't go black myself, but it's a safe choice. I would choose something colourful (yellow, orange, green....). Anything bright really.

Black is always good for a failsafe.
What about red to go with the hubs? (metallic).

They look a tad high, but what does it ride like? And also the pic is on a slight gradient.

Thanks chaps...the angle of the picture may be a little misleading.
I have just measured up against my DK and all the angles look indentical :?
I haven't ridden it yet...think I will put it all together before painting the fork.

I def. do not want red though...I would rather change the hubs and have a colourful fork...but black is probably okay

Black forks, the angle matches the other corner, the seatpost, so it should be black.
White =DK= of the decal to match the Merlin decals.
Red dekerf to match the seatpost decal and the hubs to add a little colour accent.

Fork length looks just fine, it's the pavement that isn't.
