My Cannondale Scalpel frame is going to arrive soon (hopefully) and I wrongly assumed that it takes a 27.2mm post when in fact it's a 31.6 which begs the above question ???
I have a nice Syncros carbon seatpost in 27.2mm size but would you shim this by this amount going into a carbon frame ?
Looking at most shims they are 80mm long which doesn't seem much although comparable to the min insert line on the seatpost. Dunno ? :?
