I'm giving some thought to buying a K2 Razorback Team. I've seen one for sale which I'd look to buy, then swap some of the parts.

It's a Small, so I was thinking of building it into a little trail centre flyer (built light but strong, saddle down, BIG fun!!)... I need to make a decision on the fork though.

I need something disc compatible with around 80-100mm travel to match the back end (no more). The rear shock is a Fox reverse pull shock, so a set of Fox's up front would be nice although I'd have to go for Floats to get down to 80-100mm.

The rest of the build would be SRAM 9.0 (included with bike) and Hope discs. I've got a set of WTB Laserdisc XC wheels which I could put on it. They're silver too so they'll match the frame nicely :)

Anyway, here's the bike in it's current guise. I'd be looking to change forks, stem, bars, cranks, pedals, saddle and wheels...

Small???? judging by the size of the shoe in the background, it looks like a scale model to me.

Any fork ideas then?

I want something air-sprung so that I can fine-tune it (nice and firm for playing in the trail centres and more plush for bimbling around on)... I'm lucky in that I can get away with using XC forks thanks to the fact that I weigh naff all, and have always been a 'light' rider who moves around on the bike and is constantly shifting position, rather than someone who blunders through things letting the suspension do the work - think Steve Peat rather than Rob Warner ;)
