There is little difference between M770 and T780 other than the new logo. The front hub is the same and the rear probably is, just looked, yep all part the same, just the shell colour & Q/R

And hopefully they solved the FH body problem by now 8D:...

Yes - I did fail to spot the off-road/onroad distinction.

That's what 3 years of being surrounded by broken Shimano parts does to you.

How the hell are they breaking them in Denmark? Going over to Sweden to ride some hills?

Kidding! :)

I was of course only going by what I pictured the rider would be doing. Thinking about it though, if you are going to the bother to build wheels why not start with hubs that will do for when he gets fitter.

Not the first time I have tended to the make do and mend approach blindly.
