The 2012 Wiggle Athlete Search is now live. Visit Wiggle’s Facebook page wigglecycling to submit your application or register your vote for one of the hundreds of entries to date.
Wiggle’s biggest athlete recruitment campaign ever is offering everyday sportspeople the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to become a member of Team Wiggle. Wiggle is looking for ordinary people with extraordinary sporting talent. Winners will receive a fantastic sponsorship package to support their ambitions within their chosen sport. If you’re 18 years old or above and compete in one of the following disciplines, this could be YOU!
○ Mountain Biking / Cyclo-Cross
○ Road Cycling
○ Triathlon / 70.3 / Ironman
○ Running / Marathon / Adventure / Fell
○ Swimming
○ BMX / Trials
Winners will each receive this spectacular support package for a full year:
○ A training bike for the season worth up to £1000
○ A race Bike for the season worth up to £2000*
○ A clothing and equipment package including your Team Wiggle 2012 kit
○ An amazing discount on any other pieces of kit available from Wiggle

Entries via the facebook application on wigglecycling have come from far and wide. There have been entries from Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Denmark, Belgium, Netherlands, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Canada, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Czech Republic, France, Sweden, Bulgaria, Malaysia, South Korea, Argentina, Finland, Greece, Brazil, Russia, Slovenia, Latvia and of course, the UK.
In just under 2 weeks the Wiggle Athlete Search 2012 has been viewed by over 30,000 visitors, generating over 4,000 votes.
The competition closes on the 20th February so there is still time to enter!
