USE Atom stem...the self tightening one

I think you need a ringo star. If you need one, let me know as I've got one I've never used (bought used).

I need one!

Let us know how much you are after, and I'll paypal you tonight. Much obliged.

You only need the lower part of the ring-go-star (the conical split washer with a grub screw expander).

The upper part is effectively replaced by a bevel in the lower edge of the stem. You can put spacers below the conical washer.

I'm pretty sure I've got a set of instructions for this stem somewhere. I'll see if I can dig them out and scan them tomorrow.

The bevelled spacer with grub screw is supposed to come with the stem.

TBH not a huge fan of this design though. The recessed bolts are hard to access and tighten. And there is very little margin for error on the spacing.

Thanks all - ishaw, funds on the way for the kind offer of the Ring Go...much appreciated and if it is possible to scan the instructions One Eyed Jim I'd be really grateful.

I am tempted to give it a go, if only because it does look nice and neat but, and I have to agree with dbmtb, it doesn't strike me as being that user friendly. I had a couple of USE Alien seatposts and they were just ludicrously over designed...it's almost like someone at USE Central is sat busily working out solutions for problems that don't really exist.
