Can these brake bosses be unscrewed?

Hi

I have a Kona lavadome - 2005

I am running it with discs and would really like to remove the old brake bosses. I am not sure if these are removable.

Can anyone offer any advice - will these come out or am i stuck with them?

Dont want to ruin a perfectly good frame in case i decide to sell it on at some point.

you could get a welder to un-weld them

I was sort of hoping the bosses might screw out but leave the stubs on the frame - oh well

steel forks so unlikely to be removable plus there are no flats on them.

If you plan to get rid of them, remove them entirely by grinding them off. I did this to rear boss mounts on Al Bianchi frame.

You can't "un-weld" them - except with a hacksaw and a file.......
