Ok, I have been using a selle italia SLR saddle for about a year and it looks so nice, one problem, it feels like I'm sat on a razor blade! ..back in the day (1996-2000) I used to use a classic flite titanium saddle and as far as I can remember it wasn't too bad, but I can't be sure as it was on my trials bike and didn't sit down on it much... can anyone suggest anything that looks good and sleek and that is comfortable? I mainly ride light xc nowadays on my Kona hardtail.

I still keep going back to my old Flite transalp. Never tried the charge spoon though - people seem to like them?

Is a flite transalp the same shape as the classic flite?

Get a classic flite, you'll not regret it.

I think it's just a design of saddle that was right from the start.

If it fitted you before chances are it will again.

I deviated for a good few years but no matter how hard I try always end up back on one.

Aye, the transalp/Alpes just has the rear corners cut off.

Essentially exactly the same seat though.
