So i have these rims that are eyletted and around every eyelet it kind of looks like multi directional, if that makes sense?

What could this be?

I think it looks like small line (a small collection of).

Errr like when you see a picture of the sun and it has the centre circle and then bits around the outside.

I have some silver Mavic EX721s that have what look like stress marks around each eyelet. They have been there from new. I think, as implied by the post above, that it's a common thing on some silver Mavics.

It looks like the anodising is breaking up if only the manufactures had drilled the holes first 'then' did the anodising I expect it wouldn't be such a problem :?

Really?!

This is a recent thing (well the first i have noticed).

The only thing i could put it down to was 50psi 2.4 tyres on them (mavic 317's).

But you think its the ano?
