Got my "titanium frame" frame I picked up off Ebay for a good price through today. I thought it was an Airborne when I saw the ad and now am pretty sure thats what I have but with no stickers and some doubt being put in my mind by looking at the collection of Google image search results perhaps someone can say yay or nay lad.
Fingers crossed....

Dropout screams yes to me, same shape headtube also.

But strange as to why the badge isnt there, unless it was a stick on one?

Id be surprised if another frame has that dropout.

Thats what I thought, those dropouts and headtube are a bit of a signiature .... got to be hasn't it ?

Yes it has a frame number on the bottom but looks like Airborne as they were disappeared some time ago. A skill of mine is to buy frames from manufacturers which are no longer - this, Merlin, Proflex - so much for lifetime warranty !
I paid £225 for it so think I did ok ?
Plan to make this up into a single speed as have never tried this.

Airborne is still around, it's just called Van Nicholas now. How long's the top tube? ISTR that Lancasters were very long for a given frame size.
