Lol, T45 is not upto 631 standard, never mind 853! £700 priced them out of the market, hence these reductions.

oh and t45 is much better for the use a curtis frame is designed for, than any reynolds schlop.

Carbon frames simply don't have the life expectancy of steel ones. Not with the 90's technology, not with current technology.
Many Trek Y frames and C'dale Ravens are simply falling apart nowadays. In 10 years time the only ones left will be those that are NOS today.

You just don't see that with steel or alu. If they are kept relatively rust-free, they can easily go on for 50 or more years.
