Dropped off my 97 Muni Mula for a respray at local paint shop. Whilst I was there I got talking to a guy about the retro mtb scene - he was surprised that there was a following for old mountain bikes!
He has a mtb frame that has been kicking around in the garage for a bit and was now wondering if it was worth keeping or binning.
With the reinforced gussets and disc brake mount I guess it is some mid 2000s generic halfords style jump bike but I was surprised how light it was - it is alloy and would guess it weighs well under 2kg , hand in hand feels similar weight to the Muni Mula.
No stickers to identify, although serial underneath has the word "Assault" written opposite the serial number which is:AJ0708826 can anyone recognize it, is it worth owt or nowt!?!
