Anyone who was at Mountain Mayhem in 2010 may remember Sarah (aka Thumper) and Sammy (aka Sat Nav Sam).
Sarah rode as part of one of the Retrobike ten person teams while Sammy hung around the campsite playing his guitar and general being the nice guy he is.

Anyway, at the end of that summer they set off to cycle far as they can spending as little money as possible. They are also raising money for Sportability by taking donations and playing gigs and busking along the way.

They've just celebrated their first anniversary on the road and so far they've visited France; Belgium; Switzerland; Spain; Andorra; Morocco; Italy; The Vatican City; Republic of San Marino; Slovenia; Austria; Croatia; Hungary; Serbia; Bulgaria; Turkey.

You can read more about their journey and their musings at their website here: --> http://www.2010tillwhen.com/ and say hello on Sam's Facebook page: --> https://www.facebook.com/aroundtheworldin80gigs

Good on them. I'd love to have the time and money to do that. Life is so short and thats the way to spend it. So envious.

Safe travels guys.
