13.3 kilos seems bloated for the money.

The FRS version was lighter way back in the day...

I was really (am really tempted) even as a 29er but £1500 odd means lots more saving up the pennies (unless i can persuade the local Marin dealer to take the 1993 team issue in PX!)

Very nice! Starting to yearn for my old Marin's now. Mind you I was a fanboy of the Alu ones more than anything else. I think I need to pick up some of the old steel while it is still reasonably priced. :)

Just restored a 1993 Marin Pine Mountain and the decals that I produced look exactly like on that new model. I personally think Marin lost their way recently and the frames and decals got a bit fussy and lost that classy look - me thinks they may have got it back now though!
