Does the OP not know that there is P0RN available FOR FREE on the internet?
Can't believe he doesn't, what with all the time he spends Googling to write his very informative posts.
But then I READ this,
"DISK BRAKE CALIPER MOUNTS, when you know what CALIPER MOUNTS, individually, your FRAME, and FORK is, and what ROTOR size you will have on the FRONT, and the REAR (Possibly different sizes). Then you know if you need adaptors. Possibly because:
~ You have POST MOUNT (FRAME/FORK), and you gone for larger ROTORS 180mm or 200mm.
~ You have IS MOUNT (FRAME/FORK), and the brake calipers you bought didn't come with adaptor from POST MOUNT to IS MOUNT.
~ You have IS MOUNT (FRAME/FORK), and and you gone for larger ROTORS 180mm or 200mm, the calipers only came with POST MOUNT to IS MOUNT for a smaller size.
In other words, sometimes the LACK of choice (Local bike shop none visible, all adaptors behind counter), or the bewildering choice of many MULTIPLE options of bike parts websites can be confusing, as given some descriptions, you MAY be unsure what you ORDERED or ASKED for is really the right thing, the RIGHT PART, that is."
and think, "WTF does it mean?"
If that is how he communicates with his LBS, no wonder he's not getting the correct parts.
